As helpful as the social media world may be, going to social media to help plan your wedding or event can have its advantages and disadvantages. We have to admit that a lot of us are on social media daily and for a huge amount of time. It makes it that much easier to simply ask your virtual friends about wedding and event planning tips. Many of you are in online groups on Facebook. The majority of the people in those groups are people who are also getting married or planning an event. Social media experts give you advice based on someone's experience and or generalized advice. You don't want generalized advice; you want advice that's going to address your wedding or event. There are also wedding and event professionals in those groups that are willing to offer advice and able to help you. THIS IS AWESOME!! However, do you know their years of experience and or track record. Please do your research before taking on their advice. If you want expert wedding or event planning advice, seek out someone with experience and schedule an appointment with them.
