When I first spoke with Alexandria, she was planning her own wedding and looking to rent chair covers and sashes. She and I met to do a venue walk-through. Alexandria told me her vision; and I told her that I would love to bring her vision to life.
Chattanooga Marriott Downtown combined three smaller ballrooms to create one grand room that would accommodate both the ceremony as well reception. My team and I created an ambiance and mood for the grand room by installing a backdrop, using pipe and drape design, uplighting, and of course, what Alexandria first inquired about - chair covers and sashes.
One backdrop was created for dual purposes - 1. so the bride and groom could exchange their vows during their ceremony and 2. so the sweetheart table could have a dramatic look. (Yes, the room had to be flipped from ceremony to reception.) A 50 foot wide room divider was created by using pipe and drape.
